====================
It has been too long between updates, but, we still need to let you know how things are going at the Big M! FaceOff has had numerous delays due to the health of the co-programmer, Rick Cole, and it has been such that the delays also played a heavy part in SCR's progress as well.
Without going into a lot of detail, both games are back on a limited schedule, and the first news should be revealed about FaceOff Hockey here shortly. The board game fans are anxiously awaiting news about the season set for 2006-07, and I know that as of today, 10/27, Rick was getting prices for North America printing, shipping and handling for the card set. He hasn't replied with the final numbers from his contact, so we await to see what he finds out.
Plus the testing of the 2004 version patch/update is now in VERY limited testing. Rick and Ryan are running tests with plans to offer a limited test run with 2 or 3 league owners to see how the new patch/update works! More information when we have it.
Pricing is being finalized for both the Card Set and Update for the PC version, and when we have that finalized we will be announcing that. At this time, we will be offering the card set first, and when all the details for the PC version is cleaned up and finalized we will post an announcement.
What about Southern Championship Racing?
==============================
Also, not to ignore the SCR fans, we are going to release some news on the game here shortly, and most likely show some "early pre-alpha" test screens with the announcement to let folks know what is coming with Southern Championship Racing!
We have a couple of ideas still in the early development stage, and we are also looking at creating either a non-sports or sports sim that will be web-based where people can log on to the website forum, and be able to play a game expressly made only for the web! This is very early in development, so please understand that the details, plans, and features can and should change before it releases.
Both Joe and I are busy working on SCR and some new projects to be more fully explored later this year or 2008, so please hang in there, we aim to surprise a few folks!
