Just a quick note to let folks know about Jim Gindin, one of the nicest and greatest persons you can find on the Net, and in the sport simulation business.
Running his game franchise and running it profitably out of his home for so many years, is an inspiration for everyone that wants to run a business in this sports game genre.
Jim has just released his latest version of his pro football game classic, Front Office Football 2007 and you can get a demo here: http://www.solecismic.com/demo/FOF2007Demo.zip
The link will get you the chance to buy the game, or you can just download the full version linked at the FOFC forum http://fof.sportplanet.gamespy.com/forums/index.php .
You might ask why I am giving some info about what some would say is a competing product?
Jim Gindin makes one heckuva game and cares about the sport sim community, and has been very supportive to me in questions and feedback about programming in general/specifics. He has always been approachable, thoughtful, and willing to listen as time permits.
That kind of help is invaluable, and welcomed.
I respect his talent, vision, and business acumen. I have his latest game, and I have to say that his latest version is deeper than FOF 2004, and with some new features added to what is understood as the industry standard for pro football simulation games.
If people would work together to strengthen the genre, and support each other publically and privately, the whole sport sim community would grow healthy and hearty.
For those that want more info about the game strategies and features, the fansite forum FOFC (Front Office Football Central) is a goldmine of information about the game and any sport sim fan would bookmark their location pronto!
We can only hope that Jim has a long life ahead of him, with more versions of FOF , and The College Years! So if you are looking for a football game with a lot of depth and replayability, make sure to stop by Jim's place and try out the new FOF 2007 demo.
Thanks Jim for a great game, and thanks for all you do!

PS: The Medley Games website retooling is progressing nicely, and we are closer to relaunching the website. Icy is working hard on the new look, and the forums will get a complementary look to match the new website! As always, more news to come!
