We discussed Owners last time, now here is the next installment, Drivers. For whom we couldn't have a game or sport could we? See if some of these remind you of some folks!
Driver Personality and Racing Types
- Mr.Nice Guy
- Hard Charger
- Conservative
- Hot Head
- Balanced
- Old School
- Blue Collar
That is some of the types I am bringing into the game.
- Mr. Nice Guy- Think Mark Martin. He just races and well. Doesn't get into the bumping kind of racing, just beat me fair and square and I will be fine.
- Hard Charger- No matter where he qualifies or is during the race, he is going to race hard and fast to the front. Reckless in his approach, he causes his sponsors and owners a lot of money, but can win with the right track and race position. Doesn't want to cause accidents, but he usually is involved somehow.
- Conservative- Drives a solid race, week in and week out. Doesn't take many chances, as circumstances are usually against him, money is important, but if you want a driver that finishes the race, but not in the top 10 kind of driving this is your driver. Average.
- Hot Head- Drives a pretty good race, but loses temper and control when he is shuttled around during the race and forgets the team plan, and goes after the culprit that got him there. Usually causes both cars and more to be out of the race because he can't control his temper.
- Balanced- This is your top 10 driver. They take chances when they see it, but not to the point of excess. If the car is right, and the pit crew is on, this driver will win a few races, and make you lots of money.
- Old School- Throwback. This guy does his talking on the track, and in the pits behind the wall. If he has to blacken someone's eye or bump them out of his way in his pursuit to the front, then that is fine for him. Redneck all the way, baby. Will power and talent in big doses, and willing to use it.
- Blue Collar- Crowd favorite. Grew up racing, and you can tell by the results they get. Knows his way around a car no matter what level it is. When he is hot is VERY hot, but when cold...man it hurts to watch.
Of course there will be more coming of course, but for now, this is just an overview of some of the drivers you will hire, fire, and compete against in SCR!
