News? More News? Staff? What Staff? Welcome to Icy!

Since we are bombarding you with news , we thought we would like to announce the newest member of Medley Games! Joe and I have gotten so busy with our own games, and our work with the FaceOff Hockey guys, that some of the day to day stuff was falling thru the cracks!

So I decided for our health, we needed to add someone that could handle many jobs and do them well, and be able to fill in where Joe and I can't due to time or inexperience. That is why we hired (no it isn't true we pinned him down till he said yes...) our newest member of the Medley Games staff, Icy!!!


He will be handling the HTML/Graphics and skinning for our website and forums effective immmediately. His position will be Webmaster, Forums and Graphics. Let's meet and find out more about Icy!

You know him as Icy on various sports and non-sports sim forums, but to his family he is known as Ivan Carrillo from sunny Spain! Some of his favorite sports teams are the Florida Marlins and the Miami Dolphins! He also is a big fan of US pro and college sports as well, since sports sims got him interested in the first place!

Icy, as he likes to be known by, runs an internet company that specializes in web design and online marketing and he will use those talents to help redesign the website and forums for Medley Games.

Icy has been a betatester for a few sports sim games, and looks to add his expertise in the beta process to help Medley bring out the best game we can. If you need any help with web design and marketing for a personal business, just email him: icy at medleygames dot com. He will be glad to discuss plans to fit the format you might need!

So make sure to stop in and say hi to Icy when you check in at the Big M, and be looking for an all new Medley Games look from the website to the forums soon!

October is here with news!

Busy fall for you? It has been for us. Let's get right to the updatin'!

Before I go too far, let's announce the new name for SCR! StockCar Championship Racing has a new name! What? We decided to change the name to give us a little more leeway for copyright issues.. and we liked the new name! So what is the new name?

SCR is now officially known as Southern Championship Racing! We found that this name evokes the early years of stock car racing, and we felt that it was less confusing and less of a mouthful than the earlier moniker!

Now on to other news!

Here we are in October and we have another chat coming this fall with all three programmers. But while we are waiting on finalizing a date that everyone can make, we do have some news for you! First off, the guys with FaceOff Hockey have some news!

At long last the 2005-2006 Faceoff Season Disk and Board Game Card Set is ready for download.

You can order the disk at the Board Game Web Site, located at http://www.hockeyresearch.ca/ .

Payment can be made through the secure site by way of Visa or Mastercard (sorry, no American Express at this time).

In the case of Card Sets for the Board Game, please allow for 3 weeks for delivery, and for season disk PC downloads, you will receive an email with a download address within 48 hours.

The download for the full version of the original classic FOH from 2004 is still being retooled for graphics and piracy protection. We will publish more about it when we have finalized the interface and graphics with Rick and Jim.
